關於已報繳I-901,卻沒去唸學校....

請教各位瞭解I-901

我申請了學校也付了I-901的費用

卻沒有要去念...那麼那張-901收據有有效期限嗎?還是一輩子的?還是可以轉讓...目前是我該如何處理這張我認為沒什麼用處ㄉ收據呢???

如果你是：不想去了、簽證未通過等等原因

都是不會退的

也不可能轉給別人

只有在重覆繳費、或者你所申請的簽證並不需要但你誤交了

才會退費。

另外

如果有人冒用你的信用卡繳費也可以退

但你得提出相關證明才行。

轉讓給他人也是行不通的。

另外在http://www.ice.gov/sevis/i901/faq3.htm#_Toc81222006說明了很多不需另交費用的狀況

以你來說

在12個月內如果你申請其他學校

拿到新的I20辦簽證

就不必另外交費

但必須把資料轉過去。

超過後

還是要另外交費的。

所以

如果你還想赴美唸書

在12個月內仍可使用這張收據

不然

是退不了錢的

對你來說也就沒用了。
